The Climate Strong Islands Network (CSIN) is a locally-led network of U.S. Island entities that work across sectors and geographies in the continental U.S. and the nation’s states and territories located in the Caribbean and Pacific. The CSIN is governed by a diverse Steering Committee, formed with representatives from each of the U.S. Island regions.

The mission of the Network is to drive more resources locally, support policy reform and attention to U.S. Islands and advocate for improvements in infrastructure while also showcasing proven solutions for climate change mitigation and adaptation. By working together in a coalition, Islands can leverage their partnerships with one another to advocate for meaningful policy reforms and local interventions that enhance climate resilience.

The Climate Strong Islands Network is supported by the New York Community Trust, JIB Fund, and the Ann Theodore Foundation.
